RTX has signed a plan with the Pentagon to ramp up production of five munitions, including Tomahawk cruise missiles and AMRAAMs. Under the framework agreements, RTX will increase annual production targets for these items, as well as accelerate production of other munitions.

Defense giant RTX has reaffirmed its commitment to paying dividends despite President Donald Trump's criticism of defense contractors' financial practices. CEO Chris Calio stated that the company remains committed to issuing dividends, citing shareholder reliance and decades of quarterly payments.
