The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that concerns raised by President Trump over the time taken for Gulfstream jets to be approved in Canada have been addressed. According to Reuters, FAA head Brian Bedford said that Transport Canada will announce the Gulfstream certifications that were delayed for years.
Bombardier has secured a $1.18 billion order from private jet operator Vista for 40 Challenger 3500 aircraft, with the option to exercise for an additional 120 jets that could increase the total value to $4 billion. Deliveries of the first aircraft will begin immediately, marking the start of a 10-year process.
