PAC-3

The Defense Department and Lockheed Martin have agreed to a framework for tripling PAC-3 production over seven years, with an initial capacity increase of 2,000 missiles per year. The contract award is still forthcoming, pending Congressional appropriations.

Lockheed Martin has signed an agreement with the Pentagon to quadruple production of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors over the next seven years. The deal, worth $4 billion, will allow THAAD interceptor production to grow from its current rate of 96 missiles a year to an annual rate of 400 interceptors.
