MQ-20

The US Air Force conducted a live demonstration of manned-unmanned teaming between an F-22 Raptor and an MQ-20 Avenger at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The exercise explored how autonomous aircraft can support frontline fighters in future operations, according to the US Air Force and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems.

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems demonstrated a pilot controlling an MQ-20 Avenger drone from the F-22 Raptor's cockpit at the Nevada Test and Training Range on Oct. 21. The demonstration leveraged Lockheed Martin and L3Harris teaming up for the internal research and development, according to Breaking Defense.
