Iran has launched hundreds of missiles and drones against several Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, forcing countries to activate their air defenses. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan have all reported interceptions, with varying degrees of success.

MBDA plans to establish a new wholly-owned subsidiary in the UAE, focusing on loitering munitions and missiles. The company aims to increase its presence in the Middle East through partnerships with local firms like EDGE Group and Calidus.
