Maritime Surveillance

Singapore has announced plans to acquire three Gulfstream maritime surveillance aircraft based on the G550 business jet, with Defense Minister Chan Chun Sing citing the need for enhanced capabilities in the maritime domain. The acquisition is part of a broader effort to strengthen Singapore's defenses amid rising tensions in Southeast Asia.

Airbus Defence and Space has delivered two C295 Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA) to Angola, completing the country's three-aircraft order. The new aircraft will support search and rescue operations, combat illegal fishing, strengthen border control, and assist in maritime traffic monitoring and intelligence-gathering missions for the Angolan Air Force.
