SWISS International Air Lines has taken delivery of its second brand-new Airbus A350-900 in Zurich, featuring classic livery. The aircraft, HB-IFB, will enter revenue service on February 23, 2026, and is scheduled to operate on the Zurich-Boston and Zurich-Seoul routes.
China Airlines has placed a firm order for five more Airbus A350-1000 widebody aircraft, following board approval in November 2025. The airline already operates 15 Airbus A350-900s and plans to retire four 747-400 freighters as part of its fleet plan.
Air India has announced plans to deploy new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport (BOM) and London-Heathrow Airport (LHR), as part of its 'Northern Summer Schedule 2026'. The airline expects deliveries of three new, line-fit 787-9s and two A350-1000 aircraft in 2026.
