United Airlines will air a new space-inspired film during the Superbowl on February 8, 2026, to celebrate its Starlink Wi-Fi rollout. The carrier has already equipped over 300 aircraft with the system, which is now available to almost all its passengers flying on regional service.
AeroTime reports that Immfly, in partnership with satellite operator Eutelsat's OneWeb and avionics provider Gogo, aims to offer high-speed broadband connectivity through LEO satellites. The deal is targeted at the low-cost and ultra-low-cost airline market.
Abra Group, parent company of Avianca and GOL, plans to upgrade its fleet with SES' multi-orbit inflight connectivity service. The system, featuring a new ESA antenna, provides reliable broadband connectivity and is already operational on 10 aircraft.
