Air Force Reserve Launches New Offensive Cyber Operations Squadron
The Air Force Reserve is standing up its first dedicated offensive cyber operations squadron in January, addressing critical capability gaps identified by operational commanders. The 98th Cyberspace Operations Squadron will retain highly trained cyber professionals transitioning from active duty, while a fourth Combat Communications Squadron will enhance global expeditionary communications capabilities.
