Lithuania has postponed its planned purchase of new Embraer C-390 Millennium aircraft and will instead modernize its existing C-27J Spartan fleet to keep it in service until 2036. The decision comes after concerns over cost, process, and strategic logic surrounding the original plan.
Hungary has achieved a significant military aviation milestone, becoming the first nation worldwide to receive its complete fleet of Embraer C-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft. Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer delivered the country's second C-390 at Kecskemet Air Base on November 21, 2025, in a ceremony attended by Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky and Embraer executives.
Embraer unveiled the first C-390 Millennium for the South Korea Air Force during the Singapore Airshow 2026, marking a significant step in assembly. The aircraft will now move to production flights before integrating specific systems to fulfill ROKAF requirements.
Embraer has dropped its proposal for a final assembly line in Saudi Arabia, opting instead to pursue a similar facility in the UAE. This move comes after a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Saudi Arabian Military Industries in 2023.
