Beechcraft has unveiled the M-346N, a jet trainer designed for the U.S. Navy.

Textron Aviation has confirmed it will end production of the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and Baron G58 after nearly eight decades of continuous manufacturing. The company cited low shipments for both models in recent years as a factor in the decision.

Textron Aviation will showcase three of its industry-leading products at the Singapore Airshow, including the Cessna Citation Latitude, Cessna CJ4 Gen2, and Beechcraft King Air 360. Representatives from Textron Aviation's Customer Support and Parts teams will also be present to highlight their support for owners and operators in the Asia Pacific region.

Textron Aviation led the industry in several major delivery categories, including total business jet deliveries, turbine aircraft deliveries, and turboprop deliveries. Cessna and Beechcraft brands continue to dominate midsize business jets and utility turboprops.

Textron Aviation Defense has announced plans to assemble the Beechcraft M-346N at its east campus in Wichita, Kansas, if awarded the U.S. Navy's UJTS contract.

Textron Aviation Defense has secured its first contract to deliver the Beechcraft T-6JP Texan II integrated training system to Japan's Air Self-Defense Force, in coordination with Kanematsu Corporation. The initial contract includes two aircraft and training materials, with deliveries scheduled for 2029.

Garmin's Emergency Autoland system successfully landed a Beechcraft King Air 200 after pilot incapacitation on December 20, 2025. According to AeroTime, the aircraft was flying from Aspen-Pitkin County Airport to Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield when the system activated roughly 20 minutes into the flight.

A Beechcraft 1900D operated on behalf of Colombia's state-owned airline Satena crashed in a remote region of the country's northeast, killing all 15 people on board. The aircraft departed Camilo Daza International Airport shortly before noon and lost contact with air traffic control about 12 minutes into the flight.
