Virgin Australia is launching its first-ever international service from Canberra with direct flights to Bali starting June 22, 2026. The airline will operate three weekly return flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, adding over 40,000 seats annually between the two cities.

Jetstar is launching its first international service from Melbourne Avalon Airport, with five weekly round-trip flights between Melbourne Avalon and Bali Denpasar Airport starting March 23, 2026. The airline will also resume service to Adelaide and increase frequencies to Brisbane.
Jetstar will launch direct flights from Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) to Bali's Denpasar Airport (DPS) with connections via Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). The airline will operate three weekly flights using its Airbus A321LR fleet, providing approximately 70,000 seats annually.
