Archer Aviation has announced a powertrain supply agreement with defense contractor Anduril Industries and UAE defense group EDGE at the Dubai Airshow, marking the first time the company is commercializing its proprietary electric propulsion system independently. The deal will power Omen, an autonomous air vehicle being co-developed for defense and security missions, with the UAE committing to an initial order of 50 systems.

Archer Aviation has teamed up with Saudi-based operators to launch electric vehicle takeoff and landing (eVTOL) test flights in Saudi Arabia while also evaluating the overall ecosystem readiness. Archer signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Helicopter Company, Red Sea Global, and will combine to create a 'sandbox framework' to validate and accelerate next-generation Advanced Air Mobility testing.
