Poland’s Ministry of National Defence has completed a transformative $4.7 billion acquisition of 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from Boeing, establishing a historic milestone for the aircraft program. This Foreign Military Sales contract represents the largest Apache order ever placed by a non-US customer, underscoring Poland’s commitment to modernizing its defense infrastructure amid evolving regional security dynamics.
The AH-64E Apache Guardian is the latest evolution of the Apache platform, featuring enhanced engines and advanced composite rotor blades that deliver superior combat performance. Boeing’s Vice President of Attack Helicopter Programs, Christina Upah, emphasized the significance of the partnership: “This order enables Boeing to help create one of the largest and most formidable Apache fleets that the world has ever seen, while enhancing Poland’s defense capabilities.”
