Vietnam Airlines Launches First Direct Flights to Copenhagen
Vietnam Airlines has unveiled plans to launch the first-ever direct flight service between Ho Chi Minh City and Copenhagen, marking a significant expansion in connectivity between Southeast Asia and Scandinavia. The new route, commencing December 15, 2025, represents Vietnam’s inaugural nonstop air link to the Nordic region. The service will operate three times weekly using the carrier’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner fleet, with departures from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. After approximately 12 hours of flight time, aircraft arrive at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) early the following morning. Return flights depart Copenhagen at midday on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, arriving in Vietnam after midnight.
