Vueling, part of International Airlines Group (IAG), has unveiled its 'Rumbo 2035' strategic roadmap, aiming to increase annual passengers to 60 million by 2035. The airline plans to invest €5 billion in fleet renewal and modernization, transitioning from an all-Airbus fleet to Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Lufthansa Group and International Airlines Group have formally expressed interest in participating as bidders for a minority stake in TAP Air Portugal. The rival Air France-KLM Group has also entered the fray.
International Airlines Group (IAG) has partnered with Starlink to provide high-speed satellite Wi-Fi across its fleet of over 601 aircraft starting in early 2026. The service will be available on all active aircraft not scheduled for near-term retirement, covering both short-haul and long-haul fleets.
