UK Defence Minister Luke Pollard has ordered a review into safety advice he received from top military officials who declared the Ajax armored vehicle 'demonstrably safe to operate' just weeks before approximately 30 soldiers fell ill from noise and vibration exposure during training. The declaration comes after the platform reached initial operational capability in November, eight years behind schedule.
