US public charter carrier JSX has begun flying the ATR 42-600 twin turboprop on certain routes, marking a notable shift in how the carrier plans to expand its network while maintaining its premium service model. The aircraft are configured with 30 all-premium seats and offer access to airports that are difficult or impossible for jets to serve.
