The United Arab Emirates has faced a surge in attacks from Iran, with drones having better luck penetrating its air defenses than missiles. The country operates American-made Terminal High Altitude Air Defense System (THAAD) and Patriot, as well as South Korean Cheongung-II medium-range KM-SAM.
