US-Developed Precision Guided Munition Expands Allied Artillery Production
Tiberius Aerospace has announced a $500 million contract to manufacture, license, and distribute its Sceptre precision-guided munition, a US-developed, ramjet-powered 155mm artillery round. The agreement combines US technology with UK industrial cooperation and represents the first scaled deployment of Tiberius Aerospace’s Defense-as-a-Service model. This approach aims to spread development costs and risk across allied markets, enabling participating countries to establish domestic manufacturing capabilities. According to Defence Industry Europe, the Sceptre munition is designed for extended-range precision strikes from existing NATO-standard artillery platforms.
