Airlines Expand Capacity Ahead Of Lunar New Year Travel Peak
Vietnam’s registered aircraft fleet has reached a record high of 258 planes, driven by the expansion of domestic airlines ahead of the Lunar New Year travel peak. According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, new aircraft deliveries are expected to add seats and give carriers greater flexibility to increase services during peak periods. Vietjet and Vietnam Airlines dominate the market, with 107 and 94 aircraft respectively. This growth was reported by Vietnam News.
