Partners Strengthen Alliance Amid Evolving Security Environment
The US Department of War and the Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense held the 29th Korea-U.S. Integrated Defense Dialogue, where they assessed progress on defense cooperation and modernizing the Alliance. The dialogue, led by Deputy Assistant Secretary of War George LeMeur and Deputy Minister for National Defense Policy Dr. Kim Hong-Cheol, covered key areas such as the Conditions-based Wartime Operational Control Transition Plan and cooperation in shipbuilding and aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
