Falcon 9 Rocket To Carry 27 Starlink Satellites Into Orbit
SpaceX is targeting a Tuesday evening launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base, carrying 27 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit. The mission, designated USSF-259, has a launch window of 6 to 10 p.m. on September 15. Following stage separation, the first stage booster will return to the Of Course I Still Love You droneship in the Pacific Ocean. A live webcast of the mission will be available on the SpaceX website and the new X TV app. This launch was reported by the Lompoc Record.
