SpaceX has received rare access to the US Space Command’s highest-fidelity classified orbital-tracking data, prompting concerns from competitors about a potential unfair market advantage for its Stargaze service. The data is limited to internal use and cannot support commercial gain or benefit, according to a Space Force official. The arrangement is part of an agreement between SpaceX and the Space Force’s Joint Commercial Operations Cell, which exchanges Stargaze observations for routine access to SPACECOM’s most detailed High Accuracy Catalog data.
