Space Agency Expands Ground Infrastructure for Missile Warning System
The Space Development Agency (SDA) has issued a $369 million solicitation for the procurement of next-generation ground communications infrastructure to support its missile warning and tracking satellite constellation. The contract, titled the Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking LEO Ground Entry Points (GEP) program, covers the engineering, installation, system integration, testing, and multi-year maintenance of worldwide ground stations. This expansion supports the SDA’s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) constellation, designed to deliver persistent missile warning, tracking, and beyond-line-of-sight tactical communications.
