Saab, a Swedish defense group, is expanding its presence in the space sector by forming partnerships with SSC Space, OHB Sweden, and Ericsson. The company aims to combine technologies and services from different companies into integrated systems, capitalizing on the growing reliance on space-based solutions in communications, navigation, and surveillance. According to Saab’s Head of Strategy and Technology, Marcus Wandt, the goal is to contribute to a stronger Swedish capability in the space domain. The cooperation agreements were reported by Reuters.
