Northrop Grumman And True Anomaly To Develop Next-Gen Space-Based Reconnaissance
The Pentagon has awarded prototype contracts to Northrop Grumman and True Anomaly to develop next-generation reconnaissance satellites that can monitor other space systems in geostationary orbit. The GHOST-R initiative, part of the Space Force’s RG-XX program, aims to deliver high-resolution space-to-space imagery using commercially developed space vehicles and electro-optical payloads.
