French Army Receives Enhanced Combat Capability Under SCORPION Programme
KNDS France has begun delivering R3-standard EBRC Jaguar armoured vehicles to the French Army, with close to 25 vehicles delivered or upgraded by 18 September 2026. The Jaguar is designed to replace the AMX-10RC in reconnaissance and direct-combat missions, and features a digitised T40 turret with a high-rate-of-fire 40 mm cannon and Akeron MP anti-tank missiles. The French Army authorised the R3 configuration for operational use on 20 July, clearing the way for deliveries during the summer. This development was first reported by Defence Industry Europe.
