Iranian flights to Türkiye are expected to be suspended in early October due to US sanctions on Iran’s aviation sector, which are increasingly restricting Iranian carriers’ access to airports across the region. Mahan Air has already stopped operating flights to Türkiye at the request of Turkish authorities. Despite this, flights between the two countries have continued through Iran Air and other smaller Iranian airlines.
