Expanding Commercial Aviation Training Capabilities Globally
FlightSafety International has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Acron Technologies’ Commercial Training Solutions business, expanding its capabilities in commercial aviation training. The acquisition will bring CTS’s training systems, services, and facilities under FlightSafety International, complementing its existing simulator manufacturing operations and global training network. With over 80 years of experience in commercial aviation training, CTS has delivered more than 850 training devices and currently operates over 300 full-flight simulators worldwide. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, as reported by Machine Maker.
