Vertical Aerospace has appointed former Airbus Commercial Aircraft CEO Fabrice Brégier as Chair of its Board of Directors, effective September 21, 2026. Brégier brings extensive experience in the aerospace industry, having led Airbus’ Commercial Aircraft arm and played a key role in the development of the A350 widebody airliner. He has also held senior roles at other prominent aerospace and defense companies, including Palantir Technologies and Safran. The appointment represents a significant addition to Vertical Aerospace’s steering organ, as the company moves closer to the certification of its Valo eVTOL.
