Rocket Factory Augsburg Receives €2.7 Million For Testing Infrastructure
The European Space Agency has awarded Rocket Factory Augsburg €2.7 million to support the development of testing infrastructure at SaxaVord Spaceport in Scotland. The funding will be used for hot-fire tests of individual Helix 1.0 engines and fully integrated RFA ONE second stages. This investment is part of the UK Space Agency’s Boost! programme, which aims to support the growth of the UK space industry. According to reports from Unknown Source, the contract extension also covers additional ground infrastructure at the spaceport.
