Experts Emphasize Collaboration for Industrial Applications
Experts at the 2026 Vertical Take-Off and Landing Aircraft Conference in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, emphasized the importance of cooperation among research institutes, universities, and companies for the growth of China’s low-altitude economy. The conference, along with the annual meeting of a consortium dedicated to new energy vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, brought together representatives from across the aviation industrial chain. The consortium has expanded to over 210 members, covering areas such as testing and certification, telecommunications, and industrial software. According to experts, the development of new energy vertical takeoff and landing aircraft requires a systematic restructuring of design, manufacturing, and airworthiness systems, and greater efforts are needed to tackle key technologies and strengthen cooperation.
