Chinese Space Program Expands with Successful Lijian-1 Y18 Mission
China has successfully launched nine satellites into space aboard the Lijian-1 Y18 carrier rocket, marking the 17th flight of the Lijian rocket series. The satellites will be utilized for space environment monitoring, disaster prevention, and scientific experimentation. According to Xinhua News Agency, the rocket lifted off from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone in northwestern China, successfully placing all nine satellites into their designated orbits.
