Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen3 flight test pilots recently put Garmin Emergency Autoland to the test, as the aircraft advances towards FAA certification. The system, designed to provide an additional layer of assurance for pilots and passengers, successfully engaged navigation, communications, and landing procedures during the test. The CJ4 Gen3 also features Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics, which provide intuitive control and simplify workload. This development was reported by Cessna, a Textron Aviation company.
