Indigenous Combat Aircraft Positioned For Indian Navy Requirements
Bengaluru-based Flying Wedge Defence and Aerospace has achieved a major milestone with its Kaal Bhairava Lite, completing 100 cumulative hours of flight testing. The aircraft is designed for dual-role operations, including long-endurance intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions, as well as precision-strike capabilities. With its targeted reach exceeding 1,000 km and endurance of 8-10 hours, the platform is positioned for Indian Navy requirements and international exports. According to The Indian Express, the company is evaluating the Kaal Bhairava architecture to meet the Indian Navy’s requirements for long-range ship- and shore-launched loitering munitions.
