Dhaka Seeks Faster Delivery to Strengthen National Flag Carrier
Bangladesh’s Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister, M Rashiduzzaman Millat, has urged Boeing to expedite the delivery of 14 aircraft ordered for Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The minister emphasized the importance of faster delivery in strengthening the national flag carrier and establishing Bangladesh as a regional aviation hub. The country is also seeking US cooperation to launch direct commercial flights between Dhaka and New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport next year.
