Turkish Defense Firm Demonstrates Air Defense Suppression Capability
ASELSAN has successfully demonstrated the use of its airborne electronic warfare and radar pods on Bayraktar TB2 drones, showcasing the capability to detect and jam target radars. The trial, attended by defense delegations from 18 countries, involved the ANTIDOT 2ES 100 electronic support pod, the ANTIDOT 2EA 200 electronic attack pod, and the FULMAR 200 synthetic aperture radar pod. This configuration is aimed at the suppression of enemy air defenses, a mission set that has historically required dedicated crewed aircraft. The demonstration was first reported by AeroTime.
