Low-Cost Carrier Expands International Network and Services
VietJetAir expects to receive over 600 Airbus and Boeing aircraft by 2035 as it expands its international network and aviation services businesses. The low-cost carrier has disclosed commitments for 200 B737 MAX jets, 40 A330-900Ns, and 280 A321neo aircraft. VietJetAir reported a 44% year-over-year increase in first-half consolidated revenue, reaching VND51.5 trillion (USD2 billion). The group is also developing its ground handling, cargo, training, and MRO sectors, with subsidiary AirportNEO initiating ground handling operations at major Vietnamese airports.
