Kyiv Develops Affordable Solutions To Counter Aerial Threats
Ukraine has changed its air defense strategies to better counter Russian drones and missiles, according to a report by the Royal United Services Institute. The country has employed a dense network of short-range air defense systems and has also used Western fighter jets, such as the F-16, to shoot down aerial threats. Ukrainian forces have destroyed over 2,500 Geran and Gerbera drones, with pilots developing more effective tactics to minimize the danger of being hit by fragments from exploding drones.
