Taipei Carrier Expands Global Network With Prague Flight
Starlux Airlines has launched its first European route, connecting Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport with Václav Havel Airport Prague. The airline will operate three round-trip flights per week, increasing to four in October, with an initial Airbus A350-900 configuration before shifting to the larger A350-1000 in September. Starlux CEO Glenn Chai highlighted the importance of Prague as a milestone in the airline’s long-term network development, citing growing business travel demand and rising leisure travel between Taiwan and the Czech Republic. The airline also announced plans to launch a new route to Barcelona, which would make it the first Taiwanese airline to offer direct service to Spain. This development was first reported by AeroTime.
