Moscow Shifts Focus To Ballistic Missiles And Cruise Missiles
Russia has announced plans to reprioritize its missile production, focusing on ballistic and cruise missiles, according to Ukrainian Main Military Intelligence Directorate Deputy Head Major General Vadym Skibitskyi. This shift in production may be an attempt to exploit Ukraine’s shortage of interceptor missiles, particularly Patriot missiles. Ukrainian forces have been successful in intercepting a high percentage of Russian missiles, but the country’s air defense systems remain its only defense against Russian ballistic missiles.
