Indianapolis Investment Boosts Engine Manufacturing
Rolls-Royce is completing a decade-long, $1 billion modernization of its Indianapolis operations, adding capacity to manufacture and test engines for major US military programs. The investment includes $600 million for advanced manufacturing and $400 million for engine-testing infrastructure. The project supports programs such as the US Air Force’s B-52 bomber fleet and the Navy’s MQ-25A unmanned refueling aircraft.
