Germany Increases Domestic Production Capacity Under CAVS Program
Patria and KNDS Deutschland Maintenance have signed a framework agreement to expand production of 6x6 armored personnel carriers for the German armed forces under the Common Armoured Vehicles (CAVS) program. The agreement supports two procurement contracts signed in December 2025 and is expected to increase serial deliveries in early 2027. Production within Germany is set to expand from 2027 as part of a technology-transfer effort, with KNDS supporting local assembly and integration.
