Defense Agency Expands Cloud Vehicle Beyond Big Four Hyperscalers
The Defense Information Systems Agency has announced an expected final solicitation release date of August 24 for the next iteration of the military’s main cloud computing contract, the Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability contract. The new version, called JWCC Unified Cloud Marketplace, will expand what the Defense Department can buy through the vehicle, with three tiers of service providers.
