Huntsville Company To Modernize Chinook Helicopters
Collins Aerospace has been awarded a $472 million contract to modernize the Army’s Chinook helicopter fleet. The contract, announced during the Space & Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville, will provide engineering services to support the modernization and sustainment of the CH-47 Chinook fleet. The upgrades will deliver avionics improvements that help integrate capabilities more efficiently, address obsolescence, and strengthen the aircraft’s avionics architecture.
