Strengthening Private Sector Capacity To Protect Canadians
The Government of Canada has conditionally sold 10 retired CC-130H Hercules aircraft to Coulson Aviation, a Canadian company, to support aerial firefighting efforts. The aircraft will be converted, maintained, and operated by Coulson to enhance Canada’s private sector wildfire response capabilities. This initiative aims to create economic opportunities for domestic industry and support Canadian aerospace jobs.
