Gulf Carriers Maintain Long-Term Growth Plans Amid Iran War
Despite the ongoing Iran war, Gulf airlines have not sought to delay or restructure Boeing aircraft deliveries, according to Fahad Al Mheiri, Boeing’s vice president for the Middle East, Gulf and North Africa. The region’s airlines remain committed to their long-term fleet expansion plans, backed by the strength of their global aviation hub models. Boeing’s regional backlog stands at over 930 aircraft, with no material delivery deferrals reported. The company maintained its forecast for strong global demand for new commercial aircraft over the next 20 years, according to its 2026 Commercial Market Outlook report.
