Antonov, a Ukrainian aerospace company, has faced significant challenges since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The company, which once produced iconic transport aircraft like the An-124 Ruslan and An-225 Mriya, has seen its production decline dramatically. After the Soviet collapse, Antonov’s annual production fell from 250 aircraft to between 5 and 20.
