Export License Approval To Open Doors For Foreign Buyers
A US Air Force classification change to the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program is expected to give a boost to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc.’s (GA-ASI’s) marketing campaign in Europe. The change, which will allow for the approval of an export license, will enable GA-ASI to share information with potential foreign buyers, including Germany and the Netherlands, which are at advanced stages of the acquisition process. According to GA-ASI President David Alexander, the classification change will open doors for foreign buyers, with the company expecting to receive export license approval soon.
